On June 6, the German Design Council, which has been honoring internationally renowned design, brand and innovation achievements since 1953, presented the German Innovation Award for the first time. The 650 entries submitted in the first year alone showed how popular the competition already became. Everybody at KEYOU was all the more delighted when we received the news that we were selected as the winner of the “Automotive Technologies” category. We were very pleased to receive the winning certificate at a ceremony at the Technology Museum in Berlin, as were MINI, BOSCH, HÖRBIGER and CONTINENTAL, that also received awards for their innovative achievements in the automotive sector. “This is a wonderful recognition for the progress we are making,” Jürgen Nadler, Marketing Manager at KEYOU, who received the award on behalf of the entire KEYOU team.
The prize was awarded by the German Design Council. Founded by the German Bundestag and donated by German industry, the German Design Council is an independent and internationally active institution that promotes the competitiveness of companies. The German Design Council’s circle of founders currently includes over 300 domestic and foreign companies employing more than three million people.
