The world’s largest trade fair for the construction industry and the most important meeting place for engine manufacturers – Bauma 2019 – took place from 8 to 14 April in Munich. This year, the trade fair was expanded to around 614,000 square metres and can boast a new exhibitor record with over 3,500 exhibitors from 55 countries – almost 100 more than in 2016. There is also a new visitor record with around 620,000 visitors from around 200 countries.
Next to the TCD 7.8 engine KEYOU’s cooperation partner DEUTZ also presented the hydrogen version TCG 7.8 H2 engine with KEYOU-inside at its 400 square metre stand. DEUTZ supplied the base diesel engine as a development partner. There was great interest in the hydrogen engine, and numerous domestic and foreign visitors stopped by the blue-red engine to find out more about the advantages of a hydrogen-powered combustion engine.
