Already for the 8th time the “World Hydrogen Technologies Convention” took place in Japan, to which the Japanese Hydrogen Energy Systems Society (HESS) now invites every two years. Hydrogen experts, researchers and industry experts from all over the world meet here to discuss the latest developments in the field of hydrogen and to present the latest results from research and industry. KEYOU was also asked to give a lecture at WHTC 2019. On June 6th the time had come. Alvaro Sousa, CTO and one of the three founders of KEYOU, explained the technical and climate protection potentials of H2-ICE to the interested audience in the special session “Hydrogen Engine”.
Representatives of the Japanese automotive and supplier industry enthusiastically received the information. Not only were numerous discussions held after the lecture, KEYOU made use of the time in Japan and also met potential partners and customers on the following days with whom appointments had already been made in advance of the event. Paul LaValla, who recently joined KEYOU’s Business Development Team, will take care of the Japanese market in the future.
