Calibration Engineer for Hydrogen Combustion Engines (f/m/x)

YOUR TASKS

• You work on the application of electronic management systems of hydrogen combustion engines for vehicle applications.
• You independently take care of the coordination of engine and vehicle tests.
• You perform application work including control systems such as basic application, knock control, boost control, etc. on the test bench and in the vehicle.
• You work on the engine control unit data, check existing data statuses and adjust them if necessary.
• You actively participate in function development.
• You take care of the collection, evaluation and analysis of the measurement data and document the data statuses.

YOUR PROFILE

• You have a degree in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, mechatronics or electrical engineering, ideally with a focus on combustion engines.
• You have in-depth knowledge of thermodynamics and control systems for combustion engines.
• You have several years of professional experience in the field of application for combustion engines, ECU application and ECU calibration.
• You also have relevant experience with application tools such as INCA.
• You are willing to travel frequently (especially to our development partner in Bad Dürkheim) and have a class B driver's license.
• You are business fluent in German and also have a good command of English.
• You like to work in a team, bring process-oriented, structured and goal-oriented work with a pronounced hands-on mentality.
• You also have a high degree of flexibility, commitment and reliability.

Who is KEYOU?

KEYOU is a successful high-tech company from the Clean Mobility sector that develops innovative hydrogen technologies, specific H2 components and combustion processes for engine and vehicle manufacturers, with the help of which conventional engines can be transformed cost-efficiently into emission-free hydrogen engines - without major modifications to the basic engine. The new "green" combustion engine with KEYOU-inside technology means zero emissions, efficiency and economy at the same time - without compromising on performance, capacity or range. Vehicles with corresponding engines are considered zero emission vehicles according to the current EU standard. The technology is engine- and manufacturer-independent, scalable and can be used both onroad and offroad. Currently, the focus is on commercial vehicle engines.
