The renowned international engine congress in Baden-Baden has been organised by MTZ / ATZlive and the VDI Wissensforum since 2014 and is one of the leading events on the subject of drivetrain solutions for cars and trucks. At this year’s event, the roughly 350 participants were once again able to find out about the latest developments in the future powertrain mix in around 30 presentations and in the accompanying trade exhibition. The core topics this year were CO2-free fuels, technology openness, and, appropriately enough, the economic connection between climate protection and mobility. KEYOU was not only represented at the congress with its small but excellent exhibition stand, where we were able to welcome a large number of interested experts from the automotive industry, KEYOU also acted as the main sponsor of the event for the first time. Even though we did not give a lecture this year, it was still noticeable in some lectures that the hydrogen combustion engine had become an integral part of future climate protection scenarios.
A highlight of the two-day event is the annual joint dinner, which this year took place at the UNIMOG Museum in Gaggenau near Baden Baden. We are happy to have been part of the event, it was worth it, numerous interesting business contacts were established for us at the end of the event!
