The role hydrogen technology plays in green mobility will be shown on Thursday, September 2, 2021, in the series “WissenHoch2” on 3sat. It kicks off at 8:15 p.m. with the documentary “Under Pressure: Hydrogen in Mobility,” which also features KEYOU. Afterwards, experts will exchange views on the topic in a panel discussion.
In the 45-minute documentary, John A. Kantara asks whether it is possible to convert mobility to green hydrogen – and what opportunities and risks the energy transition holds. For this, the journalist traveled across Germany in a hydrogen vehicle – there are currently just 808 hydrogen cars on German roads and around 300,000 e-cars – to talk to various players from the hydrogen and automotive industries. In addition to companies such as Linde, BMW or Siemens Energy, the author also spoke with KEYOU or Tom Korn about hydrogen mobility in general and, of course, especially about the hydrogen engine. The conversation and the entire filming took place at our test bench in Bad Dürkheim.
And it’s okay to write it: Now that more and more OEMs and suppliers are speaking out about the hydrogen engine and also working on it, we are naturally a little proud that only KEYOU was selected for this contribution.
The documentary will be shown on TV on Thursday, September 2, at 8:15 p.m. on 3sat. If you can’t make it, you can watch the documentary afterward in the 3sat media library.
