Under the motto “Propulsion of the Future – Technologies. Scenarios. Visions”, the largest automotive congress and networking event of the Austrian automotive industry, AUTOCONTACT´18, will take place from 26 to 27 September at the Seifenfabrik in Graz. High-calibre national and international experts will be discussing questions such as which drive system the future belongs to, whether the days of the internal combustion engine are really numbered or whether battery or hydrogen are the best future alternative drive systems. What do automobile manufacturers and suppliers focus on and what visions do they have of tomorrow’s powertrain?
In this environment, Tom Korn, CEO and founder of KEYOU, describes on September 27 (11.40 – 12.20 hours) why the emission-free hydrogen engine is the ideal drive train in the commercial vehicle sector. AUTOCONTACT´18 starts with a factory tour of ZF Lemförder Achssysteme GmbH in Lebring, which in recent years has developed from an axle assembly plant to a ZF mechatronics site. The series production of a rear axle steering system will be presented as part of a tour of production. The congress will also be accompanied by a large trade exhibition.
