As a private economic research institute, the Institut der deutschen Wirtschaft e.V. (German Economic Institute, IW) deals with economic and social policy, the education system and the labour market. The scientists of the IW were interested in how KEYOU managed to reconcile the conflicting objectives of mobility: Environmental protection – profitability – customer value.
As part of its monthly series of lectures, the Institute offered KEYOU the opportunity to explain to experts from business, industry, and research how this conflict of objectives can be resolved with the help of the hydrogen combustion engine. The lecture on 14 June entitled “The hydrogen combustion engine as an ideal drive train in the commercial vehicle sector” was attended by around 40 scientists from various disciplines at the IW headquarters in Cologne. At the same time the lecture by Cornelius Preil, Business Development Manager at KEYOU, was also transferred to the Berlin IW office.
