Around 400 participants from 30 countries attended the “AVL International Simulation Conference 2019”, which took place from 22 to 24 October in Graz, Austria. The focus this year was on the latest simulation trends and technological advances in system and component development for powertrain and vehicle integration. Future-oriented keynote lectures, best practice presentations, workshops and an extensive exhibition dealt with the most important advantages and challenges of a synergetic use of simulation solutions in the entire development process.
One of the keynote speakers was Alvaro Sousa, co-founder and CTO of KEYOU, who spoke about the advantages of the hydrogen engine. In addition, the first two days of the conference saw more than 90 technical presentations from renowned OEMs, universities and suppliers in four parallel tracks: electric drive train, ICE-based drives/power & emissions, ICE-based drives/longevity & NVH, and virtual vehicle development. Additionally, Alexander Werz, Project Manager for the complete vehicle setup at KEYOU, gave one of these lectures, so that KEYOU was even represented twice at this event under the following title: “Consumption and Efficiency Measurements of the KEYOU-inside H2 Technology for Commercial Vehicles”.
KEYOU says thank you for an outstanding event and for the invitation to give a keynote!
