Former ADAC Managing Director Christoph Walter becomes new Chief Sales Officer at KEYOU

Munich, January 30, 2024 - Christoph Walter (49), long-time Managing Director of ADAC Truckservice GmbH and former Managing Director of ADAC Südbayern e.V., is responsible for the strategic and personnel development of Sales & Business Development at the Munich-based hydrogen specialist KEYOU as Chief Sales Officer (CSO) since January 2024. With him, the technology leader in the field of hydrogen engines gains a versatile top manager who has a broad network in the logistics and transportation industry thanks to his professional experience. Walter's main task will be to expand sales activities and drive forward the company's expansion and internationalization plans.

 

Christoph Walter began his professional career as a project manager at Bayerische Landesbank in Munich. The economics graduate then moved to ADAC as Business Development Manager and Strategy Consultant, where he later became Chairman of the Management Board of ADAC Truckservice GmbH & Co. KG and took over the management of ADAC Südbayern e. V. After almost 20 years at ADAC, Walter was most recently active in his own management consultancy, with which he focused on mobility and service companies as well as the topics of fleet management and fleet optimization.

Walter has a broad national and international network in the transportand logistics industry as well as in politics and associations. In addition to his comprehensive sales know-how, Walter also gained extensive experience in the service environment of the truck and transportation sector during his time at ADAC. In his role as Managing Director of ADAC Südbayern e.V., Walter was also significantly involved in bringing the IAA Mobility 2021 to Munich for the first time and, together with the City of Munich, made a decisive contribution to the development and success of the "Yes to IAA" campaign.

Vita Christoph Walter:          
Christoph Walter studied economics at the University of Augsburg, specializing in economic andcorporate policy as well as finance and banking, from which he graduated with a degree in economics. He began his professional career in 2001 at Bayerische Landesbank as a project manager in risk management. In 2003, he moved to ADAC, where he held various positions over 19 years, from Business Development Manager to Managing Director of ADAC Truckservice GmbH and ADAC Südbayern e. V. As a result, Walter has a broad national and international network in the transport and logistics industry as well as in politics and associations. In addition to his comprehensive sales know-how, Walter also gained extensive experience in the service environment of the truck and transportation sector during his time at ADAC.
