Sales launch for our CO2-free KEYOU 40-ton truck
Our new KEYOU tractor blends innovation with efficiency. Powered by our highly efficient KEYOU-inside hydrogen engine, it is ideally suited for long-distance operations. Fleet operators can get started for as little as €0.58 per kilometer — even without subsidies. This cost includes a comprehensive service and maintenance package as well as all-round insurance coverage.

H2 Vehicle
Our tractor unit based on the Daimler Actros is classified as "Zero Emission" according to EU standards and is therefore toll-exempt. The vehicle is based on our KEYOU-inside technology, which stands for emission-free operation, high driving comfort, and maximum performance.

No worries! We take care of the service for your H2 vehicle. Together with our partner network, we offer professional service as well as maintenance and repairs.

The heart of KEYOU-inside: the hydrogen engine
As technology leaders, we at KEYOU recognize the value of reliable and powerful combustion engines. However, the disadvantages of diesel and gasoline engines are clear: they emit pollutants and cause environmental damage. KEYOU has developed a simple solution to this problem.
Our vehicles on the road
Past hydrogen engines have been clean but delivered low performance and involved complex adaptation work. KEYOU changes the paradigm by transforming existing diesel engines into hydrogen engines in the most effective way, by smartly utilizing the same base engine and just upgrading the core sub-systems necessary for an optimal hydrogen combustion operation. Around 80 % of the engine remains unchanged.

With our hydrogen expertise, our technology and our conversion know-how, we can solve the major challenges in the commercial vehicle sector and provide a cost-effective, CO2-free mobility solution - especially for existing vehicles. Our entry-level fleet consists of converted 18t trucks, which are being delivered to the first pioneering customers since early 2025.
